BEECH - Reception

Journeys

As part of our class theme this term ‘Journeys’ Beech class went on a journey to Roves Farm. Everyone packed onto the coach for the journey down the M4 towards Sevenhampton. Once we arrived at Roves Farm we were greeted by Kayleigh who gave us a tour around the farm. Kayleigh told us several facts about the animals they look after on the farm and we were able to get up close and personal. We then had a morning play outside, exploring the climbing wall, climbing net, slide, basket swing and zip wire. The zip wire was our favourite. We then enjoyed our picnic lunch. Once lunch finished, we were burning our energy with some parachute games before our tractor ride around the farm to meet the larger farm animals. Our final stop was the indoor play area, exploring the rabbit warren, bumpy slide and climbing apparatus. It was a super busy day and some of us enjoyed a quick snooze on our way back to school. Kayleigh mentioned how well Beech class listened and followed instructions throughout the day. Well done Beech class!
