Headteacher's welcome - Mrs Alana Walch
Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School is located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, in the villages of Brinkworth and Dauntsey. It is equidistant between Malmesbury and Royal Wootton Bassett, and is easily accessible from Lyneham, Chippenham and Hullavington.
We have a very strong mission statement ‘To provide a secure, happy and stimulating learning environment in which EVERYONE is valued, spiritual growth is nurtured and potential maximised.’ This statement is at the heart of all we do, along with our ethos of putting children at the heart of everything we do and our six core values of friendship, trust, thankfulness, perseverance, courage and respect. We work hard to empower the children in our care to believe in themselves and their huge potential, and to support their growth into the people God means them to be.
Our motto of ‘Believe to achieve!’ supports the children in developing a positive mindset, and this is backed up by our Bible verse ‘Roots will grow down into God’s love to keep us strong’.
We are proud to have recently been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (December 2018), who recognised that our ‘effective teaching promotes pupil progress’ in line with our school ethos of ‘Believe to Achieve’. All of our staff work closely together to create a happy and caring environment so that children can develop their individual skills, becoming confident and motivated young people.
Visits to our school are encouraged; we are always keen to share what we are doing with potential new families. We currently have spaces across our school and would love to welcome you to Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School.
