Healthy School
We qualified for the National Healthy School Status in 2005. As a 'Healthy School' we promote the health and well-being of pupils and staff through the curriculum, which is delivered in a physical and emotional environment that promotes learning and healthy lifestyle choices.
We take a whole school approach as we:
- Develop PSHE teaching and learning
- Use SEAL materials throughout the school
- Encourage healthy eating and physical exercise
- Use positive behaviour management
- Be proactive in preventing and addressing bullying
- Consult with Governors, staff, pupils and parents
- Improve the learning environment
